\nAs an Analyst, Private Capital, you’ll hone your existing analytical skills, develop meaningful insight into a fascinating industry, and contribute to our best-in-class private capital research. The research this team produces is utilized by many of the largest private capital investors, investment banks, and service providers globally. Our team is creative, driven, and focused on providing the most actionable research to our readers and clients.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
\n\nConduct research and analysis covering alternative investments with an emphasis on private equity and venture capital as well as institutional allocators, global economic conditions, and other relevant spaces\nEstablish research frameworks to provide independent commentary, evaluations, and forecasts around our primary coverage areas, while identifying unique themes that may impact private markets\nUtilize proprietary PitchBook data, the internet, newspapers, academic white papers, public and private company research notes, economic indicator forecasts, etc. to inform and develop actionable analysis on the APAC region\nWrite and edit research reports as directed by team pipeline and publishing calendar\nManage direct-to-client distribution channels for published notes\nWork closely with the data analysis team to identify unique datasets to support research\nDevelop and manage relationships with both client and non-client industry professionals to help support primary research efforts\nManage and respond to inquiries from clients, press, internal colleagues, and the general public regarding published research\nSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors \nParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requested \n\n\n
Skills and Qualifications:
\n\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics preferred. Strong understanding of financial concepts such as valuation techniques (DCF, comps, etc.), LBOs, IRRs, portfolio management, etc.\n5+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or other related financial services role\nStrong interest in private equity, venture capital, growth equity, and M&A\nExperience writing long-form research a plus\nCritical thinker\nDetail-oriented and analytical mindset\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written\nProficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily\n\n\n

Working Conditions:
\nWe believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office (3+/4+/5) days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
\nThe job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
