Analyst, Product Development Home & Accessories

Position Overview

The Analyst will oversee the daily execution of new product development projects from concept to launch. Responsibilities include managing samples, coordinating meetings, monitoring critical path milestones, creating and approving SKUs, organizing sample photography, fostering cross-functional relationships, and handling ad hoc tasks as needed.

Prior experience in Leather product development and experience in Textile development is a plus.

Key Accountabilities

Project Management

Manage the critical path, ensuring all dates are adhered to and clearly communicated to all cross-functional partners. Create and maintain comprehensive project trackers and documentation. Manage all sample tracking and delivery updates. Present development updates to cross-functional partners in key meetings. Communicate product updates, changes and costings to Merchandising throughout the development process. Partner with the team to outline accurate inventory needs for projects, including material requests, bill of materials setup, and timely purchase order submissions.

Project Sample Management

Oversee the movement of all incoming and outgoing samples and materials, ensuring efficient coordination between suppliers and internal teams, including collaboration with Inventory Control. Organize and manage all aspects of sample photography. Maintain and organize the materials library, including swatches, color cards, and supplier-provided materials. Prepare samples for weekly presentations, conferences, and other business needs. Handle sample reconciliation to ensure accurate tracking and management. Coordinate sample distribution to support Marketing, PR, and Senior Leadership requirements.

Operational Support

Own product developments part of SKU creation and sign-off process, ensuring timely and accurate completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Manage product meetings, creating and organizing the agenda, samples, color cards, tech sheets, sample feedback, costings. Input and maintain data integrity across various product development tools and systems to guide and monitor the project plan. Manage payment processing and database entries for samples, CERs, and expenses, including follow-ups with Accounts Payable to resolve any outstanding invoices. Coordinate the movement of samples to QA and ensure all tech packs are passed to QA in a timely manner. Cities communication coordination, ensuring all cross functional partners have the information they require for cities product. Oversee the creation of all blue boxes and dust bags, ensuring the correct packaging is assigned to each SKU. Provide key product information to Merchandising for the creation of new product collateral. Coordinate with the EU/USGDC to walk them through any special kitting requirements.

Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements

2+ years product development experience with expertise in leather goods, home, fashion textiles, luxury or interior design. Curious and eager to discover new territories, will think out of the box. Have a refined taste level and a true product sensibility. Have anoverall knowledge/experienceof retail business practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) with adaptability to new software, abilityto think strategically then implement steps to achieve goals. Must have excellent organizational, communication and written skills, ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities, strong interpersonal skills and diplomatic. Undergraduate degree from an accredited University.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $92,310- $108,600. The salary offered will be dependent uponcandidates relevant skills and experience.
