Our Property Tax Analysts focus on personal property tax consulting services including preliminary valuation analysis, fixed asset data analysis, and communicating with clients and taxing authorities.
Note: This position can be located in Dallas, Houston or Austin
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Effectively communicating with team, clients, assessors, and taxing authoritiesLearning, understanding and applying valuation techniques including the three approaches to value in appraisal practiceParticipating in training sessions and educational opportunities to learn about industry trends, valuation techniques, and assessment procedures
Essential traits:
0-5 years work experienceCompleted Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration or other related field from an accredited university or collegeStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft OutlookAbility to prioritize tasks and work on multiple engagements in a team environmentStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills across all mediums: in-person, virtual, telephone, email, and instant message (IM)Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding resultsFlexibility to work extended hours as needed on an occasional project specific/ seasonal basisNegotiation and debate skills a plus
