Position Summary
The S&OP Analyst is a supporting function to consolidate and analyze market forecast data as well as coordinating communication between S&OP, Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance. This position will play a vital role in the future of sales and operations planning at Corby Wine & Spirits and become a champion of our forecast and S&OP evolution. You will independently create and manage reporting metrics and presentations for senior leadership. You will work with internal and external partners to improve key performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Responsible for driving best practice exception-based forecasting in collaboration with the commercial planners and supply planningResponsible for developing processes to optimize demand and supply forecasting focused on override management, root cause analysis and risk and opportunities identificationResponsible for compiling data from different sources, analyzing data and providing insightsUtilize Power BI and other sources to prepare business decks with key KPIs (forecast accuracy, forecast bias, customer fill rate, etc.)Coordinate between customers, finance, commercial and operations teamsDrive automation of new and existing reports to drive efficiencyMost importantly, if you spot an opportunity to improve things, you'll take itEducation
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business analytics, Data science or related fieldExperience/Background
1+ years’ Experience in a data analyst, demand planning or similar role Experience creating tools and reports from large datasets (excel pivot tables, power query, intermediate formulas (index-match)) Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Experience with forecasting and forecasting systems (Anaplan, Blue Yonder, etc.) Demand planning experience (preferred) Strong business acumen, independent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsRequired Skills/Competencies
