Position Summary:
Provide support and enhancements to a wide variety of Software Applications utilised by the International Sales Offices. This position is responsible for supporting key applications, investigating and resolving issues also implementing new functionality
The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills, initiative, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be flexible to work varying hours to support global markets, be willing to travel when necessary and be capable of adapting to an ever-changing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support production applications, write and execute comprehensive Test Scripts and Use Cases Analyse issues in existing software Working with technical resources to resolve issues Provide first and second level support for a wide variety of Software Applications Train and support new staff members, to ensure that the overall team goes from strength to strength. A true team member Assist with migrations, standards and administration as needed. Qualifications:
2 years’ experience of Customer Software support, troubleshooting and system testing Degree or equivalent experience in area of Computer Science
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience of Software support Use cases Professionalism in dealings with all touch points within the business. Software development life cycle IT Documentation skills to document IT Systems Testing development life cycle Attention to detail and dependability Aptitude for technical concepts Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Very logical / good problem solving skills / good analytical skills Tenacious - sense of urgency to satisfy customer Affable – Interpersonal skills – empathetic with customers and with peers Flexible approach and adaptable to change Strong desire to learn new systems, processes. Good team player and communicator, flexible in approach, and with a desire to drive forward in I.T. Experience in working in an International environment beneficial Flexible working hours and the ability to travel required
