The Analyst, Sourcing Operations will be responsible for Issuing and maintaining Purchase Orders, Obtaining the required approvals and documentation, Administering catalogues and online vendor sites for ordering office supplies/forms. Review and process internal purchasing requests. Interface with vendors as needed. Assist in the timely resolution of procurement-related issues by following established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Assist with management of the daily procure-to-pay technology, procedures, and supplier relationships.Issue and maintain Purchase Orders. Obtain the required approvals and documentation.Administer online vendor sites for ordering office supplies/forms. Review and process internal purchasing requests. Extrapolate purchasing data from iProcurement tool.Provide insight to corporate purchasing behaviors and assist in ongoing demand management efforts.Provide reports on procurement activity as needed. Hold an understanding of vendor payment processing at Webster.Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.Perform vendor maintenance including adding new vendors, updating existing vendors.Ensure proper compliance by performing TIN checks and OFAC screening in accordance with policy.
Qualifications:
Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration.Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skillsAbility to drive end-to-end procurement work-flow process - needs analysis, supplier relations, contract management, etc.Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment and multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlinesStrong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with vendors, all levels of management and internal colleaguesStrong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required#LI-BB1
