About Team:
Our team is responsible for supporting suppliers. merchants, and cross-functional teams with certificates of insurance, onboarding, profile maintenance, agreements, ticket resolution, system enhancements, reporting, and special projects for US Goods For Resale (GFR). We are responsible for communications tied to our strategies and processes, ensuring suppliers and merchants are informed of any pertinent changes to systems and processes. We develop and govern supplier education resources, implement enhanced education systems, and deliver live training with relevant topics to ensure our suppliers are working with Walmart optimally. We are also responsible for ownership and development of the Category Advisor program, ensuring accurate access, education, governance, and reporting.
What you'll do:
Oversee supplier compliance processes, including monitoring and processing certificates of insurance, ensuring accuracy and authenticity, and addressing lapses for domestic national suppliers.
Review of financials to determine if the policy should be accepted, high deductible or self-insured retention should be permitted, and executing the screening and verification of level of product liability insurance
Provides advice on supplier insurance requirements and processes by answering questions related to insurance certificates on domestic national suppliers
Provides documentation to support legal inquiries by providing certificates of insurance to Claims Management Inc. and Legal
Tier 2 support for internal stakeholders and insurance and vendor contract execution questions
Supports vendor experience improvement (certificates of insurance, onboarding, contracts and key performance tools)
Orchestrate cross-functional projects by collaborating with teams, gathering data, developing solutions, and ensuring deliverable implementation while reporting progress to leadership.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders like buyers, suppliers, and senior leaders through effective communication, education, and alignment with business goals.
Proactively identify and resolve supplier issues by determining root causes, providing guidance, implementing sustainable resolutions, conducting risk analysis, and developing mitigation plans in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrate expertise by providing advice, supporting customer and business needs, building commitment, and adapting to changes while modeling compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, and ethical standards.
What you'll bring:
Associate’s degree in Business or related field OR 1 year’s experience in business management, project management, customer service, or related area.
Experience with Microsoft Suite
Build strong and trusting relationships with team members and business partners; works collaboratively to achieve objectives; communicates with impact and listens attentively to a range of audiences
Maintain and promote the highest standards of integrity, ethics and compliance
Deliver results while putting the customer/member first and applying an omni-merchant mindset and acts with an Every Day Low Cost mindset to drive value and Every Day Low Prices for customers/members.
Adopt a broad perspective that considers data, analytics, customer/member insights, and different parts of the business when making plans.
Implement and support continuous improvements and willingly embrace new digital tools and ways of working.

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000.00-$95,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
