Responsibilities:

Check, monitor, control and coordinate all operational works in relation to Trade Finance Operations.Handle daily operational task relating to processing of Guarantees, Trade Loan and other relevant trade finance products.Work in partnership with Corporate Banking Department, Transaction Banking Department, Compliance Department and other stakeholders to collect information, clarify transaction requests, investigate solutions and support the develop of transaction processing solutions. Liaise with customers when required, to resolve transaction issues and maintain good relationship with the customer.Provide input into operations processes and workflows to deliver best practice, efficiency and mitigate risk.   Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation. Review and update any Standard Procedures, Policies and Guidelines as and when required.Support, assist and perform on-the-job functions as and when required by the Head of Department.Perform and take up any assignments, projects and tasks that being assigned/delegated by the Head of Department.Support internal and external audits within the Department as and when required.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.Preferably with minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experienceAble to work independently with minimum supervision.Ability to work effectively in team setting.A good team player who is meticulous, detail oriented and pro-active.Strong knowledge of accounting and banking regulation.Strong PC skills particularly in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access
