Grow Customer Pick Up program business development by generating vendor and carrier targets, then negotiating with both respectively to achieve the highest margin outcome for C&S. Work directly with the relevant business owners (stakeholders – sometimes including Procurement & Merchandising), so that they are part of the decision and process relating to the conversion of lanes to CPU. Negotiate CPU allowances with the vendors and lane rates with carriers, with the goal of converting lanes to CPU and creating new income for the targeted facilities. Develop and maintain productive account relationships with representatives of each vendor reviewed, and serve as point person for any subsequent CPU allowance issues that arise with the reviewed vendors. Conduct carrier sourcing for specific geographical areas of need to improve carrier cost profile or support future growth in CPU lanes. This will include vetting of potential carriers, contract negotiation, system set-up, onboarding, and post-onboarding TMS troubleshooting. Lead effort to capture, review and publish market analysis for all vendor delivered and managed lanes, and take appropriate action to respond to market conditions. For managed lanes, the CPU Analyst will identify lanes where we are either paying above market rates or receiving below market income, and review with the respective business owners. Working closely with the business owners, the TBD analyst will identify market opportunities and initiate appropriate actions. Also executes root cause analysis, and correction of issues for lanes not meeting financial expectations, including working with other teams and departments as necessary. Help to maintain and develop appropriate KPI reporting/tracking on team progress and contribute to continuous improvement of such tracking and reporting. Contribute to startup related activities for new C&S customers as it relates to CPU programs, including establishment of vendor and carrier agreements, system set-up, troubleshooting issues as needed, and representing team on startup calls.Travel Required:No
