Analyst, Transportation Modeling
Position OverviewThe Transportation Modeling Analyst will have primary focus on planning and executing complex Supply Chain data analysis in effort of evaluating proposed changes to the Transportation network. This role will assist in identifying improvement opportunities by designing and developing models and analytical reports. The key responsibilities include analyzing critical Transportation metrics, conduct scenario planning, identify efficiencies, and improve data structures.

Job DescriptionDescription

Evaluate Network Changes: Will assist in designing and developing models and analytical reports to evaluate and track current state operations and simulate future state operations to identify improvement opportunities. Support Transportation Proposals: Collaborate with operations and finance to develop baseline metrics. Validate resources, develop bid sheets and review proposals. Evaluate feasibility of alternate solutions proposed by participants. Assist in formalizing any agreements that arise from proposals. Transportation Reporting: Assist in improving current database structures and developing new ones; as well as assist in developing and implementing Business Intelligence dashboards to identify, report and track key Transportation metrics. Asset Optimization: Perform studies in an effort to improve resource utilization and customer delivery efficiency. Determine resource requirements for new business. Other: Support management team as necessary with ad-hoc requests including but not limited to quantifying change requests from service providers or customers, performing cost- benefits analysis of new technology applications available.Travel Required:Yes

Years Of Experience

2-5 : years of experience in Supply Chain planning, budgeting forecasting, and analytics. Experience with Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations a plus.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree - Operations & Supply Chain Management, Master's Degree - Business Administration
