What this opportunity involves:
We are currently seeking an Analyst, Hotel Investment Sales, Australia. The primary geographic focus will be on Victoria and South Australia yet participating in transactions in Australia, New Zealand and beyond. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne, reporting into the Vice President and Managing Director Investment Sales, Australia.
JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group serves as the hospitality industry’s global leader in real estate services for luxury, upscale, select service and budget hotels; timeshare and fractional ownership properties; convention centres; mixed-use developments and other hospitality properties.
An overview of the role:
Support the Melbourne and wider ANZ team in securing listings, marketing and closing of hotel real estate transactionsInput financial data from P&L statements into models and develop pro forma financial projections with the support of a remotely based data and analytics team.Conduct hotel pricing assessments and general operational underwriting and analysis.Support the investment sales team in improving the data management and collection for the Australian hotel market Conduct research, gather, compile and present economic and demographic data pertinent to hotel transactionsAssist in both the preparation and presentation, market updates, proposals and other investment materials to clients and prospective investorsProactively engage in business development activities through networking, industry seminars and leveraging the existing relationships of other business unitsFacilitate transaction due diligence processesWork collaboratively with peers in advisory, asset management and JLL capital markets in Asia-PacificSound like you? Preferably seeking a candidate with experience in hospitality real estate, finance or relevant consultingDegree in Business Finance, Hospitality and/or Real Estate with strong record of academic achievementTask-oriented and possesses a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering on goalsDetail-oriented, with excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others to achieve a common goalExcellent analytical and financial analysis skillsComprehensive knowledge of the latest trends in the tourism industry as well as hotel and resort operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)Team player, organized, and strong communication skillsSelf-motivated and ability to multi-taskDisplay a proactive approach to the team and office environment with comfort in working independently and as part of a diverse regional teamWhat you can expect from us:
