The IT Food Safety Quality Assurance & Environmental, Health and Safety Business Solutions Team seeks an Analyst Applications to participate in the implementation of productivity projects across facilities. The mission is to ensure initiation, follow-through, and completion of tasks related to IT Business Analyst to meet timelines.

You will need to be thorough and detail oriented. You will need to be passionately customer and outcome focused. This role requires demonstrated experience with meeting goals and deadlines. Standard computer skills; must have strong skills in document creation, organization, and the use of technical materials.

Responsibilities

Act as the IT partner to the business, aligning technology to business goals and delivering best-in-class technology solutions. Cultivate strong business relationships by demonstrating an understanding of related processes, requirements, systems, and terminologyPartner with stakeholder teams across business units to document necessary business cases to frame opportunities, benefits, and risks to decide on a course of action Stay current with stakeholder needs and strategies by developing a communication process utilizing formal and informal methods to communicate updates and findings and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (e.g. senior management, customers, technical staff)Work with business and IT Leadership to develop IT strategies and technical roadmapsCoordinate, influence, and gain alignment of cross-functional business & IT teams to develop scalable and strategic solutions that meet business needsAssist in the project delivery of multi-business technology solutions and must have significant exposure to and demonstrated proficiency in the areas of analysis, design, software requirements, configuration, testing, and implementation.Partner with software vendors on functionality roadmaps and critical issues to ensure vendor solutions are aligned with business roadmaps and initiatives Maintain awareness of best practices including processes and technology and identify opportunities for improvement of existing functionalityAnalyze and interpret information technology proposals and evaluate and develop alternative implementation plansParticipate in cross functional meetings & organize/deliver information to audiences at all levels within the company, including executive stakeholdersDevelop strong working relationships with business partners, peer IT teams and vendors

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, other technical areas or equivalent experience

Experience:

2+ years of experience in Information Systems or related area with proven experience as a business analyst2+ years of experience in gathering and documenting requirements2+ years of business process modeling experience preferredComputer skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Communication skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to tell the “story”Experience communicating technical information to stakeholders, peers, management and non-technical team membersExperience communicating functional requirements to highly technical team membersAbility to work collaboratively and effectively across the team with a growth mindset propensity towards action and learningAbility to work independently and set priorities based on key milestones, impact to strategic initiatives and high-level direction of managementAbility to handle initiatives in a high-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience with hardware tools and software communicating platformsBe able to work closely with a project team and external vendorsExperience with safety, environmental/health, SFQA.
