As an Analyst/Associate in our Credit and Transaction Management team, you will work closely with Corporate Banking (“CB”) and Global Markets (“GM”) Sales & Trading to support the growth of the corporate loan book and trading businesses and will manage a portfolio of borrowers within the Global Credit division of RBC Capital Markets. You will also work closely with other groups within Capital Markets and the Bank to deliver a full range of credit and banking services to multinational and other large corporate relationships.

You will be responsible for the administration of an assigned portfolio of borrowers, which includes multinational and other large corporate lending relationships, and will provide additional support to several Corporate Banking teams. Your key responsibilities will include:

Must-have:
Strong academic credentials including completion of Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering mathematics or any other problem solving fieldsMBA or CPA, CFA professional designation (completed or near completion) or a post-graduate degree with a focus in business, accounting, economics, mathematics or other quantitative field would be an asset but is not required.1-5 years work experience in a related field, including banking or corporate lending experience, finance and/or risk management, or knowledge of structuring and writing of credit proposals, credit processes and policiesHighly motivated self-starter with keen attention to detail and strong interest in corporate finance and creditAbility to read and understand complex legal documents (e.g. loan agreements, security documents)Strong credit and analytical skills including the ability to critically assess financial statements and other client reports to draw reasoned conclusions and recommend a course of actionExcellent written and verbal communication, with strong negotiation skills and an ability to manage conflicting demands and viewpoints, and multiple stakeholder expectationsAbility to work effectively within a team environment and to interact at all levels within a large organizationAbility to prioritize, perform well under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlinesStrong general PC Skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)What’s in it for you?
