Responsibilities About the role The Analyst- Automation Business Intelligence will support the global workforce in the adoption and enablement of new technology products as well as support business intelligence efforts for the Business Automation team. Sample technologies include the Microsoft O365 platform, Robotic Process Automation, and various other technology tools that can be used to enable the business to realize operational efficiencies and improve the employee experience. This role will provide data structure and reporting solutions that effectively monitor the business and support strategic decision making. In this role you wil: Develop and maintain accurate and effective data solutions such as list reports, crosstabs, charts, interactive dashboards and ETL processes using tools such as Power BI, Cognos Analytics, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics, and Informatica for users both within the department and across the company Assists with the successful deployment, adoption, and transformation of employee technology services across the global enterprise Properly document BI processes as they are moved into production Continually seek opportunities to refine, improve, and automate data gathering and reporting Lead collaborative sessions with various business groups to gather and document BI project requirements Qualifications What makes you a dream candidate? Knowledge of Power BI, Cognos Report Studio/Cognos Analytics, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics, Informatica, Oracle SQL queries, Databricks, or other Business Intelligence applications Knowledge of ETL concepts and relational database technology and design Experience working on programs of change, transformation initiatives, or technology programs Knowledge in the design, planning, deployment, and utilization of technology tools such as Teams, SharePoint Online, PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Forms, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and virtual collaboration tools Experience with Power BI, Cognos Analytics, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics, Informatica, Databricks, or other data solutions tool Ability to design and implement data solutions with minimal supervision Ability to interface with all levels of management and to effectively interact with internal and external customers Demonstrated expertise in the creation, deployment, and support of Power BI reporting Interpersonal skills and the ability to simplify technical concepts and language Skilled in working with key groups across an organization such as IT, Audit, Compliance, Cyber etc Ability to design and implement data solutions with minimal supervision Experience in the creation, deployment, and support of Power BI reporting or other Business Intelligence solutions Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and internal and external customers Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred 3+ years working on programs of change, transformation initiatives, or technology programs preferred What We Offer: Generous benefits package available on day one to include: 401K matching, bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid), tuition assistance, training, GM employee auto discount, community service pay and nine company holidays.
