International Insurance is a key contributor of margin and growth for International Card Services (ICS). In partnership with insurance companies, it offers highly valued insurance products and embedded insurance within the card products (No Additional Charge) to Card Members across international markets.

How will you make an impact in this role?

This new role will be part of the of the International Central Insurance Team with the primary focus on supporting the Control program and embedding the control mindset in the Insurance business. The successful candidate will collaboration with control groups and multiple market partners across geographies.

Partner with market teams to ensure compliance with Amex policies and regulatory requirements Lead and support control projects for the business Support first line testing process Assist with ongoing Third-party Lifecycle Management monitoring of centrally managed partners Support New Product Approval Process for insurance initiatives Drive adherence to the insurance Best-in-Class Standards & Controls program

Minimum Qualifications

Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills. Strong project & process management skills. Multi-tasking, attention to detail and prioritization skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, develop and evaluate risk scenarios effectively Experience in control, compliance and/or risk management and governance function. University Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
