**Major/Essential Functions:**
Every day you will:
+ Be responsible for planning, organization, training, and operations of the staff performance management system and provide oversight for the electronic Performance Management System (ePM).
+ Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations, and confer with HR section leadership to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.
+ Prepare, process, verify, and maintain employment records related to events such as performance management, corrective action, termination, and leaves using human resources management system software applications.
+ Assist with administrative management of all university leave programs in coordination with and under the direction of the HR Leave Administrator. Interpret and administer leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws including the FMLA.
+ Provide process oversight and respond to unemployment applications, wage verifications, and appeal packages.
+ Provide administrative management of the University Volunteer Worker process.

As an Employee Relations Analyst you will serve as a link between supervisors and their employees by answering questions and helping resolve work-related concerns. You will use your knowledge to explain human resources policies, procedures, and laws. You will also guide campus leaders through the employee performance management, corrective action, and termination processes. Your experience and knowledge will be key as you address employee relations concerns and mediate workplace disputes. You will make a difference!
