Summary:

The Analyst  will assist in the forecasting, budgeting and analysis of Energy Transfer’s midstream operations. This candidate will need the ability to operate in a fast paced, collaborative environment and will work closely with our Accounting, Operations, and Commercial groups. This candidate must be proficient in participating in group discussions and the presentation of financial results. This position will assist in the presentation/preparation of the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation of the annual budget. Prepare and update the long-term forecast periodically throughout the year. Prepare and report monthly results reporting package. This reporting package will be presented to financial and commercial leadership monthly. Preparation of this report will require updating the annual forecast on a monthly basis. Performance of this function will require this position to maintain a close productive relationship with accounting, commercial, and operational groups within the Midstream segment. Prepare budgets and forecast information for joint venture partners, and work with the FP&A team in presenting budgets, forecasts and quarterly analysis to joint venture board members. Preparation of Management Discussion and Analysis for inclusion in our 10Q and 10K filings.  Preparation of quarterly analysis reporting package that will be presented to financial, commercial and operational leadership in preparation for our quarterly earnings call. Support the Midstream FP&A group in responding to requests from external joint venture partners. Support our Corporate FP&A group in the preparation of presentations to investors and ratings agencies by providing actual and forecasted financial information. 


 

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting 2 - 8+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting related function, preferably with oil and gas related experience. Knowledge of financial statements Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written Strong Excel modeling skills

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

 

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the midstream natural gas industry Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Usually, normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
