Description We are offering a long-term project for a Digital Business Analyst in Houston, Texas. As a Digital Business Analyst, your primary role will be to act as a liaison between the technical staff and business owners, coordinating with users to define and document business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the project documentation library and assisting the project team in obtaining business user acceptance. Responsibilities: • Facilitate strategic vision contributions regarding business solutions development in collaboration with management and individual team leaders. • Assist in coordinating project tasks and resources as per the project plans. • Perform business processes and systems analysis, taking into consideration the implications to the current and future business environment. • Collaborate on the deliverables, cost, schedule, and quality of one or more enterprise solutions projects. • Review progress and evaluate results to ensure accuracy and efficiency. • Collaborate with internal and external customers, suppliers, and other partners to resolve problems, respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancements, test, refine, and institutionalize solutions. • Drive projects and the organization towards achieving business results. • Conduct functional analysis for target features of the digital platform. • Analyze current and target platform features and functionality. • Research functional and technical systems and processes to discover key gaps to enable functionality. • Develop recommendations to resolve any functionality gaps. • Facilitate scoping and estimation sessions within Scrum Teams. • Collaborate with Systems Analyst to enumerate functional and technical tasks required to enable features and functionality. Requirements • Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and client liaison. • Proven experience in training team members and stakeholders. • Proficiency in strategic planning and organization. • Strong research abilities to drive business growth and progress. • Commitment to quality and design in all aspects of work. • Experience in supervising teams and managing projects. • Knowledge of Agile Scrum and other Agile methodologies. • Familiarity with digital business processes and integration. • Experience liaising with partners and suppliers. • Ability to resolve issues promptly and efficiently. • Knowledge of libraries relevant to digital business. • Understanding of various business process functions. • Proficiency in using JIRA for project management. • Strong UX skills for effective design and user experience. • Familiarity with the Discovery process in project management. • Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field. • Excellent decision-making skills to drive business success.
