Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Sales Compensation Analyst I. The Sales Compensation Analyst I is part of a team responsible for the overall administration, analysis, and support of sales compensation programs in the U.S., Canada and LATAM. This position will work alongside a subject matter expert while learning the Sysmex’ compensation system and processes; perform month and year end commission processing; responsible for sales reporting utilizing Xactly and PowerBI dashboards. This position works closely with all levels of the organization managing commission plans, supporting the design of sales incentives, and analyzing pertinent sales performance measures.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Conducts the commission plan administration activities, management of monthly commissions and annual bonus payment cycles, and ensuring timely distribution of reports and processing of commission payments.
2. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of commission plans, including but not limited to quotas, commission rates, bonuses, commission multipliers.
3. Processes revised orders within Dynamics to ensure quota/commission reflects the intended result.
4. Partners with other teams within Sales Operations to drive improvements in order processing, data accuracy and sales reporting.
5. Communicates regularly and effectively with the field to provide a comprehensive understanding of how their commission plans work.
6. Research queries and understand data flows to explain variances in commission pay and/or quota attainment
7. Tracks and reports on key metrics to determine efficiency of commission plans and understand opportunities for improving commission plans alignment to business objectives and communicates summary of results to sales leadership.
8. Work with Finance in providing insight on data for accruals and forecasting reports.
9. Drives process adoption, discipline, and governance, in compliance with company policies and the established commission plans
10. Other duties as assigned. Travel Percentage: 10% Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years required experience in Finance or Sales Commissions, which may include experience in the Armed Forces.

Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely to all levels of the business.

Xactly and Advanced Excel skills preferred; VLookup and Pivot Table experience; experience in software testing preferred.

Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills; ability to work optimally independently as well as in a team environment; ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize to ensure work is done in a timely and high-quality manner; must be detailed, process & documentation oriented.
