Analyst II, Credit

The purpose of this position is to provide advanced analytics and business intelligence around credit customer data and payment behaviors. The position is responsible for developing proactive collection approaches to minimize delinquency and charge offs. The position utilizes statistical models to predict and forecast the likelihood of financially defaulting. This position evaluates and verifies the accuracy of the statistical models and fine tune the models accordingly. This position provides federal and state regulatory and various organizations data requests.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS:** (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills **)**
**Education, Certifications/Licenses:**
Required:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, economics, finance/accounting, engineering, IT, or a related discipline/field of study.
Or
+ Equivalent academic education and work experience
Preferred:
+ Previous energy forecasting experience.
+ Familiarity with machine learning, neural networks, and / or stochastic models.
+ Demonstrated Experience in building predictive models using multiple modeling methods in R, Python, or SAS
+ 2-3 years Develop innovative solutions and implement data-driven business strategies
**Related Work Experience:**
Required:
+ 2-3 years Intermediate/Advanced Power BI experience
+ 2-3 years Experience using and understanding of coding languages such as R, Python, SAS or C including statistical analysis.
**Specific Skills & Knowledge:**
Required:
+ Collaborative mindset
+ MS Excel – intermediate/advanced proficiency
+ Strong database knowledge, SQL writing skills, and computer coding skills
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to identify and communicate business and customer trends and issues
+ Data analytics/data scientist
Preferred:
+ R, Python, C, and/or Java

Pay Range: 65,102 - 89,515.8 USD Annually: Base salary varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
