This is a hybrid position, meaning you must come into our Grand Rapids office location Monday - Wednesday. We do not provide sponsorship for this opportunity, including OPT Student Visas.

 This position is an experienced role within the Analytics Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for developing and applying analytics that will positively impact sales, margin and profit performance across a variety of business areas.

What You'll be Doing:

Responsible for providing analytical support for Merchandising & Marketing teams who are decisioning against complex problems.Collaborate and build strong strategic-partner relationships with business teams to develop winning customer-centered solutions.Create analytic approaches that leverage disparate data sources to identify business opportunities.Prepare and present materials that effectively communicate analysis and resulting recommendations.Partner with reporting teams to consult on production-level scorecards that apply best in class analytics.Operate within an IT Agile environment to enhance analytic capabilities that will improve business team effectiveness.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, economics, or another quantitative field. Master’s degree preferred.2-5 years business experience in analytics, preferably in a customer-facing industry that operates both in-store and online.Significant work in a cloud-based data environment using coding languages such as SQL, Python, R and applications such as Databricks.Success working in a cross-functional team focused on topics such as business growth, promotions, customer engagement, and media.Strong work ethic with organizational, planning, and time management skills to handle multiple/competing projects.Comfort developing insight-based recommendations and presenting them to decision makers.
