Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Analyst II - Radiology.

In this role, the successful Radiology IT Analyst is responsible for achieving in-depth knowledge of assigned Radiology IT systems and software. There are over 15 applications supported by radiology IT. He/She conducts regular day-to-day communication, monitors and maintains applications, demonstrates an understanding of clinical operations, and works with vendors, Project Team(s), NYULMC Clinical Representatives/Subject Matter Experts, and end users to tailor the system to fit the organizations needs. The Radiology IT Analyst routinely performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of Radiology IT systems; is responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Radiology applications; and will design, build, test, install, train and maintain those solutions. The Radiology IT Analysts also supports modality connectivity to the network and applications. He/She supports the installation of radiology applications and workstations running the radiology applications. The Radiology IT Analyst is expected to use critical thinking skills in providing systems solutions to meet business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in disaster recovery measures.Demonstrate knowledge of the organization Service Standards and incorporate them into the performance of duties.Work with Application Managers/Directors/etc. and the entire Project Team, to collect, analyze and document business operations and workflow.Complete all tasks in a timely manner with accurate documentation.Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve the completion of tasks.Collaborate effectively with vendors using appropriate tools.Troubleshoot problems and address questions from users, and provide on-call support on a rotating basis.Review and test changes, enhancements, and each new release as assigned.With support, create, review, and update test scripts to reflect proposed workflow solutions.Analyze data conversion needs.Analyze new functionality in new releases to identify impact.Develop an understanding of interface requirements and testing.Provide assigned on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.Assist with all quality assurance processes, including change management and testing efforts.Actively participate and contribute in meetings as assigned.Work with radiologists/technologists and operational users to support their workflows and troubleshoot issues.Incorporate patient safety factors in clinical design.Ensure the test scripts have been created, reviewed, and updated to reflect proposed workflow solutions.Support the training team by keeping trainers abreast of new functionality and system changes.Communicate effectively across all impacted teams associated with task assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Typically requires 2 or more years of experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:Radiology IT experience or Healthcare experience and minimal implementation and/or support experience desired..

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $90,066.74 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
