We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Ciudad de México, at our Torre Mayor office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As an Analyst in Accounts Receivable and Insurers, you will be responsible for managing outstanding receivables, identifying collection risks, and ensuring effective communication with clients and insurers. You will play a crucial role in mitigating risks of uncollectibility through proactive collection strategies and reconciliation efforts.
We will count on you to:
Manage the collection portfolio of fees and commissions from clients and insurers, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up on outstanding invoices.Identify and analyze collection risks, utilizing data-driven insights to propose effective mitigation strategies that enhance cash flow and reduce delinquency.Communicate directly with clients and insurers to reconcile outstanding balances with accounting records, fostering strong relationships to facilitate prompt resolution of discrepancies.Estimate calculation of uncollectible accounts, employing analytical techniques to identify discrepancies in reconciliations and assess the likelihood of recovery.Analyze and report deviations to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations to reduce reconciliation items and improve overall collection efficiency.What you need to have:
A degree in Accounting or Finance careers.0-3 years of experience in collections and reconciliation or finance-related roles with knowledge of Python or Alteryx.Intermediate English proficiency.What makes you stand out:
