About the Role
We seek highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic Inventory team as an Inventory Analyst. This role will execute Inventory Management processes in a timely and effective manner, adhering to defined policies and procedures.
Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter, the BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations. An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development. Work collaboratively with Inventory and other colleagues to optimize and deliver sustainable inventory strategy management, and regional stakeholder engagement. A core focus of this role will be provide world class customer service by working collaboratively with mine site personnel and internal customers Play a key role in delivering the right part, to the right place at the right time Optimise stock levels by conducting analysis through IBM MRO (IQ) software (training provided) Produce recommendations for slow moving/obsolete inventory to assist in reducing working capital Improve parts availability by processing maintenance requests to stock parts and reviewing parts which missed work orders Understanding the company's inventory situation and making suggestions to improve it by balancing business value vs. risk to deliver great outcomes Participate and support activities such that Logistics meets the Business Plan, Department and Global KPIs are met Assist the Lead Inventory Analysis in resolving complex issues, review of work allocation, and any associated activities to manage team’s performance Assist the Lead Inventory Analysis to continuously update and improve procedures and Quick Reference About You
Bachelor ’s degree and / or similar qualification in a commercial, business, supply chain and/or technical discipline You are open, engaging, and a team player with an ability to build long term relationships Comprehensive analytical and problem solving capabilities, including the ability to provide recommendations for improvement Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous and dynamic environments Advanced communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal with influencing talents Demonstrated competence to prioritise and organise workload effectively within deadlines Capability to support Supply Leaders to deliver upon department KPIs. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word Language: Fluent in English, both verbal and written About Our Process
