Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to partner with functional business partners to execute on strategic initiatives for the Inventory Planning & Replenishment Organization. This is accomplished through cross-functional collaboration across merchandising, store operations, and supply chain teams.
The Analyst, Inventory Initiatives will review/analyze inventory, sales and other relevant data, conduct analysis, and provide insights and recommendations within their assigned area. The associate will track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to ensure activities within their assigned area are meeting strategic and financial objectives.
This role will support one or more of the below initiatives:
• Promotional Buys
• Seasonal Entry/Exit strategies
• Command Center Inventory Support
• Overall Flow Plans/Policies
• Localization
• Process optimization
• eCommerce

Key Responsibilities
Helps provide the insights necessary to evaluate activities within their assigned area Supports meetings with IRP leaders and cross-functional partners to deliver insights to guide future strategies, tactics, or activitiesSupports field merchant and IRP teams on store specific sales opportunities by helping to provide insights needed to address and action inventory appropriately. Compile data to inform field merchandizing of localized assortment/allocation opportunities.Maintain location-based performance results, trends, opportunities, and risks to support development of recommendations to influence actions that maximize salesRespond to and fulfill command center/EME inventory requestsAnalyze results for store/cluster specific promotional opportunities aimed to optimize performanceExecutes field merchant and store operator inventory requestsDevelops and analyzes reporting related to inventory investments, promotions, or marketing initiatives to inform recommendations on actions needed by IRP and cross-functional teamsSupports departmental project teams on continuous improvement initiativesMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience2+ Years experience in merchandise planning, demand planning, replenishment, or a related fieldBenefits
