Donaldson is searching for a driven Pricing Analyst who will play a key role in implementing and analyzing pricing strategies to maximize company revenue and profitability.   This role will make impactful contributions that include developing key insights from large data sets, conducting qualitative and quantitative research to deliver pricing recommendations, ensuring effective governance of pricing standards are applied and relaying insights through dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making by the Mobile Solutions Aftermarket business stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities:

Responsible for data collection, analysis, and generating reports under the guidance of senior team members.Their duties include conducting market research to learn more about competitor pricing for similar items, reviewing previous sales data and company revenue needs and deciding a market price for a range of products based on their findings.Advise sales personnel of price variations relating to their accounts that require corrective action to facilitate achieving margin objectives.Compile statistics on costs, prices, margins, or sales volume for special assignments. May provide input into establishment of pricing policy and procedures.Responsible for maintenance of pricing in ERP (Oracle).Responsible for executing and enforcing revenue controls tied to pricing.
 

Travel: Up to 10%

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance or related field and minimum 2-3 year related experience.Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Access and MS PowerPoint and the use of mobile technology.Effective written and verbal skills in English Language are mandatory.Ability to assimilate large sets of data from different sources & perform fact-based analytics to drive business decisions.Ability to assimilate large sets of data from different sources & perform fact-based analytics to drive business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven ability to manage projects and initiate process improvement.Ability to work flexible hours in a deadline-driven environment.Ability to effectively present ideas & communicate with team members within & outside region organization, ability to write routine reports and correspondence and ability to speak confidently & effectively before groups of customers or other Donaldson colleagues.Meticulous in numbersA team player and able to work independently.
