This includes prudent underwriting and effective credit and risk administration with particular emphasis on adherence to credit policy and requirements, financial analysis/modeling, risk evaluation, on-going portfolio maintenance activities, data integrity, portfolio reporting and client support. Collaborate with deal team to maintain data integrity on existing portfolio and identify credit worthy projects within targeted markets. Supplement credit analysis with portfolio data, research, and property level evaluation from a wide variety of internal and external sources to develop an assessment of client, competitor, property segment, market and industry risks and trends. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Assist in the preparation of the due diligence and underwriting documentation for new loan requests. 2. Responsible for developing components of credit underwriting and structuring on renewals and reviews, making independent recommendations based on assigned components of the underwriting work product. 3. Collaborate with PM Associates and Portfolio Managers researching and qualifying prospects and underwriting new opportunities. Applies understanding of credit risk and current portfolio exposures to evaluate and recommend new requests balancing risk /return for the Bank. 4. Complete performance and monitoring activity for assigned portfolio to include overall portfolio management, current CRE project performance vs. original expectations, required risk monitoring activity and understanding of current industry and market trends. 5. Monitor and report on portfolio data and analytics to maintain accurate data integrity across exposures and serve as primary support contact for audits and data inquiries. 6. Analyze financial statements/projections and document client performance, along with identifying risk and risk mitigants while maintaining accurate client records and file integrity. 7. Serve as a client and internal point of contact in regards to assigned portfolio. (May include site visit and/or visit with client management team to understand projects and property reporting). **QUALIFICATIONS** **Required Qualifications:** The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including an attention to detail. 3. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Knowledge of credit principles. 6. Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints. 7. Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team environment. **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. 1-3 years of portfolio management and client relationship experience preferably in Commercial Real Estate related industries. 2. Intermediate knowledge of ARGUS software; high level Excel and database analysis tools, including expertise in use of 3rd party Real Estate Data Sources (CoStar, REIS, Axiometrics) 3. Familiarity with loan documentation, covenants, Corporate Accounting and financial statement reporting including analysis of financial statements 4.
