Description:

Develops, coordinates and provides advice, reporting and services on a variety of legal, compliance, regulatory, corporate and contractual matters. Represents or oversees the representation of Santander US or its various entities to minimize legal, compliance and regulatory risk by preventing or resolving issues and ensuring adherence to business and legal standards. Gathers, documents and examines data to determine and assess the compliance, regulatory and/or legal environment and to monitor ongoing activities and/or concerns. Researches, investigates, advises on and responds to regulatory developments, consumer practices, governance and corporate responsibility initiatives in order to safeguard and enhance the company and the Santander Group's reputation

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

Participates with central tracking, coordinating of stakeholder responses to questions and information requests received from regulators in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely delivery and escalating when needed.Performs quality assurance on stakeholder responses ensuring completeness and accuracy before submitting responses to regulators.Gathers information, analyzes data trends, identifies root cause(s), and provides information to the business or project teamsEnsures documents, projects, processes or product initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and enterprise policy.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience:


Work Experience:

0+ Years Experience in compliance, risk, regulatory relations or as a regulatory examiner

Excellent communication, presentation and reasoning skillsDemonstrated ability to perform complex analysisProblem solver who can manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast paced environmentAbility to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
