Partner directly with and effectively support the District and General Manager levels of our Restaurant Operations teams by executing a comprehensive accident prevention strategy and accident reduction initiatives tailored to each individual company market.
Conduct frequent market visits to Company markets, coordinating with DM, GM, HRBP and Facilities Managers, providing education, teaching, and coaching, while influencing for impact, relative to prioritized execution of each of the elements of the Restaurant Safety program. Restaurant visit travel path plans will be carefully constructed and recommended to the Manager Health & Safety for approval based on analysis of accident trends with a primary focus on safety priority restaurant inspections, safety audits, accident prevention training exercises, safety meetings, GM, and DM live and virtual EHS presentations.
Supporting the Manager Health & Safety & Restaurant Safety Sr. Analyst team, The Analyst- Restaurant Safety will complete required EHS data analysis to develop targeted EHS quarterly business reviews for Restaurant Operations business partners, supporting accident prevention efforts. EHS business reviews generated by the Restaurant Safety Analyst will including clear and concise accident trend data analytics, data visualizations, and valuable safety program actionable insights.
Partner cross-functionally with but not limited to the Workers’ Compensation and General Liability Analysts, Claim Supervisors, Human Resources, Facilities, Loss Prevention & Security, This role will develop a peer network of other restaurant industry EHS / Risk Management professionals.
Develop a solid understanding of and ability to effectively use current EHS tools such as the Restaurant Safety Audit, Safety Meeting and Root Cause Analysis. Interpret findings and gain an understanding of accident prevention actionable insight development.
Gain an understanding of OSHA 1910 General Duty Clause regulations in order to support the Manager Health & Safety with time sensitive OSHA inquires and/or inspection activity. Under the guidance of the Manager Health & Safety, collect necessary investigative materials to successfully support the navigation and closure of OSHA activity situations.
What we expect from you Education: Bachelors Degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in field people safety / accident prevention support roles, risk management, loss control or closely related position. Restaurant industry operational experience to including leading and/or managing a restaurant environment is ideal.Proficient analytics-based recommendation and/or accident prevention actionable insight generation, including accident data trend analysis and data visualization. Ability to provide detailed and precise technical direction relative to Root Cause Analysis investigation, accident prevention strategy, restaurant and market specific accident prevention strategy and tactical deployment.
Strong organizational, interpersonal communications, management, and influence skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, training, and customer service skills. Strong negotiation skills
Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate with other departments and key stakeholders.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload.
Experience assessing restaurant front of house and back of house hazardous conditions that could continue to unnecessary customer or employee accidents.
Position can be located in Tampa, Orlando, Miami or Ft Lauderdale or within an hour of any of these locations. Open to other states/locations.

Pay Range: $69,000 - $117,000 Annually
