Analyst - Sales Data & Reporting (Power BI/CRM-A)

About this role:

The SDR&A (Sales Data Reporting & Analytics) Analyst will be responsible for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and optimize sales performance. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, sales processes, and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights that enhance sales strategies and operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization, and the ability to communicate complex data findings to stakeholders at various levels.

What you’ll do: 

Effectively uses standard statistical tools, methods and techniques to accurately compile and analyze data.

Participates in hypothesis generation for key drivers of business performance and demonstrates ability to develop hypotheses based on data and business knowledge.

Understands appropriate visualizations for different types of data and reporting.

Building effective analytical solutions in various BI tools.

Researches, assesses and recommends operational and/or technical solutions to analytic processes.

Identifies opportunities and recommends actions that provide value and drive improvement for the business.

Ability to distill complex analyses into clear, concise key themes and findings.

Ensures consistent data quality across all dashboards, analyses, and reports being produced.

Maintains strong attention-to-detail, implementing checks and following best practices to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Ability to effectively use Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tasks.

Demonstrates comprehensive skills in SQL and Microsoft Power BI/or Tableau/or Salesforce CRM-A to manage, analyze, and visualize data for informed decision-making

Effectively manages time by prioritizing the most critical activities, ensuring that high-impact tasks are completed efficiently.

Demonstrates adaptability by changing ideas and perceptions based on new information and experiences; shows willingness to adapt and grow in response to feedback and challenges.

Identifies operational problems and modifies processes, services, tools and techniques.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess sales effectiveness and efficiency.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales data by implementing data governance best practices.

Establishes relationships with the key business partners

Support ad-hoc analytical requests and projects as needed.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related analytical role.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.

Proficiency in data analytics tools: SQL, DAX, Power Query(M).

Knowledge of R, Python, Alteryx, SOQL and SAQL, etc. is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Knowledge of Sales processes, Customer 360, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and sales performance metrics.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

Experience with Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, and CRM Analytics (formerly Tableau CRM) is preferred.

Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics techniques is a plus.

Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.

Knowledge of data Integration Tools like MS Fabric, MS Power Query, Azure Data Factory, etc. is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services and Microsoft Fabric Microsoft Automate, Azure Data Lake Storage, etc.
