Analytical Chemist
Job Title: Analytical ChemistJob Description We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to perform lab work including HPLC, TOC, LAL, bench testing, analytical chemistry analysis, and stability sample testing. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing, reviewing, and publishing laboratory procedures, methods, and other documents. Additionally, the role involves executing methods and lab equipment qualifications and validations, as well as method development and validation for HPLC instrumentation. The Analytical Chemist will perform quality control analysis for raw materials, drug products, stability testing, and final release testing, effectively interpreting and communicating results. This role also includes authoring and revising SOPs, test methods, stability protocols, and specification documents. Responsibilities + Perform laboratory work including HPLC, TOC, LAL, bench testing, analytical chemistry analysis, and stability sample testing. + Assist in preparing, reviewing, and publishing laboratory procedures, methods, and other documents. + Execute methods and laboratory equipment qualifications and validations. + Develop and validate methods for HPLC instrumentation. + Conduct quality control analysis for raw materials, drug products, stability testing, and final release testing. + Interpret and communicate test results effectively. + Author and revise SOPs, test methods, stability protocols, and specification documents. Essential Skills + Proficiency in HPLC and method validation. + Experience in method development for HPLC instrumentation. + Knowledge of Empower 3 software. + 3-5+ years of experience working in a pharmaceutical setting. + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with small molecules. Work Environment The position is based in a small lab with about 2-3 people. You will be working with new HPLC machines. This role provides significant opportunities for growth due to the company's expansion and efforts to bring chemistry testing in-house. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
