Hours Worked: Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week. However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
Compensation Range: $21 an hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
Position Summary:
The Analyst II is responsible for prepping and running stability samples for various routine methods, such as assay and degradants. Instrumentation is HPLC and GC. This will be executed through electronic notebooking in a GMP environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and adhere to standards for appropriate test methods and SOP’s Prepare equipment for testing using prescribed standards / specifications Perform HPLC and GC on routine samples Perform pipetting, serial dilutions using volumetric glassware Utilize a microbalance and analytical balance Prepare a variety of samples for testing using prescribed testing methods, following testing standards / specifications. Perform quality and safety checks on samples submitted prior to testing. Accurately report and record test data in electronic notebook or handwritten notebooks as needed in a timely manner Maintain supplies, lab cleanliness and analytical instrumentation, as required. Prepare stock solutions, and keeping shelves and reagent stocked. Maintain up to date knowledge of current methods and products to be tested. Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures Follows the guidelines set forth in by clients and the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or closely related field Minimum of 2 years experience with HPLC or GCAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
