Title: Analytical Laboratory Technician
Work Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM (Rotating Shift, Dupont Schedule)
Contract Duration: 1-Year Contract (Potential for Extension)
The Analytical Laboratory Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of laboratory data by conducting precise sample preparation, analysis, and documentation. This position requires adherence to strict safety protocols, analytical methodologies, and quality standards to support production and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Sample Collection & Preparation: Collect, classify, and prepare various samples for laboratory testing, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Laboratory Analysis: Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses using hazardous chemicals and prescribed procedures to assess product quality and composition. Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain a variety of laboratory instruments, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy. Data Management & Reporting: Perform calculations, validate results for accuracy, and maintain comprehensive records in laboratory databases and reporting systems. Quality Control & Compliance: Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and contamination-free laboratory environment. Technical Support & Collaboration: Assist in troubleshooting laboratory instruments, participate in process improvement initiatives, and collaborate with team members to enhance laboratory efficiency.
