R&D Lab Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Analytical Lab Technician responsible for performing various lab tests, analyzing samples, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to strict lab standards. The role involves accurately preparing samples for analysis by weighing, diluting, and mixing according to established procedures. You will operate analytical instruments, mainly HPLC, and conduct analytical analysis. Additionally, you will perform wet chemistry tests, including but not limited to the person, viscosity, titration, and pH. You will work closely with scientists on developing analytical methods, performing sample preparation, and preparing sample solutions for scientists. Responsibilities + Perform various lab tests and analyze samples. + Maintain accurate records and adhere to strict lab standards. + Accurately prepare samples for analysis by weighing, diluting, and mixing according to established procedures. + Operate analytical instruments, mainly HPLC. + Conduct analytical analysis. + Perform wet chemistry tests, including but not limited to the person, viscosity, titration, and pH. + Work with scientists on developing analytical methods. + Perform sample preparation and reference sample preparation. + Prepare sample solutions for scientists. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Science, with coursework in General Chemistry I and General Chemistry II with labs. + Basic understanding of lab equipment. + Preferred experience with lab work outside of school. Work Environment You will be working in the lab. This role offers a long-term contract (12 months) with potential to become permanent. Will get extensive exposure to different tests and research and development projects. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
