The Analytics Architect is responsible for driving digital strategy by implementing data capture solutions for Nexstar Media’s hundreds of websites and mobile apps. Key areas of emphasis include building out our Adobe Analytics implementation across websites and mobile apps, and guiding how measurement technologies are integrated into a revamped content management system.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Analytics, this person will work closely with other members of the central data team and partner with engineering, product and audience development groups to ensure that the right measurement stack is in place. Keys for success include a deep understanding of digital media and a willingness to work towards creative solutions to complex problems in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, passionate, organized, and can operate effectively in independent and collaborative team settings. A proven history of implementing web and app analytics is essential. It is a unique opportunity to build the digital tracking and measurement strategy for multiple businesses, including the nation’s largest chain of TV stations, a cable news network and a Washington, D.C.-based political news site. Familiarity with the broadcast industry and digital video is a plus.
