Analytics Consultant
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant **In this role, you will:** + Consult with business line and enterprise functions on less complex research + Use functional knowledge to assist in non-model quantitative tools that support strategic decision making + Perform analysis of findings and trends using statistical analysis and document process + Present recommendations to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance + Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency + Participate in all group technology efforts including design and implementation of database structures, analytics software, storage, and processing + Develop customized reports and ad hoc analyses to make recommendations and provide guidance to less experienced staff + Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area + Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies + Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and capital objectives and other strategic goals + Collaborate and consult with more experienced consultants and with partners in technology and other business groups **Required Qualifications:** + 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. **Desired Qualifications:** + Bachelors, M.A./M.Sc. College Degree or Higher in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis. + 2+ years of experience working in Python for data analysis, scripting, and machine learning. + Strong knowledge of SQL for querying structured databases. + Strong statistical and mathematical skills for data modeling and prediction. + Persuasive written and verbal communication skills. **Job Expectations:** + Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors. + Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements. + Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area. + **Data Analysis and Interpretation -** Collect, clean and preprocess large datasets to extract actionable insights. + **Model Development –** Design, develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business challenges using Python. + Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using PySpark for processing large datasets efficiently. + Collaborate with stakeholders to present findings clearly and effectively. + Ensure adherence to data management/ data governance regulations and policies. + Performing and testing highly complex data analytics for Wholesale Lending. + Designing analysis projects flow and documentation that is structured for consistency, easy to understand, and to be offered to multiple levels of reviewers, partners, and regulatory agents demonstrating research and analysis completed. + Investigate and ensure data integrity from multiple sources. + Ensure data recommended and used is the best “source of truth”. + Applies knowledge of business, customers, and products to synthesize data to 'form a story' and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective.
