Analytics Engineer
As an Analytics Engineer in the Data Science and AI team, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and analytics solutions to support ASICS' AI and data science initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will enable data-driven decision-making and support advanced analytics capabilities across the organization, ensuring best practices in data engineering, data quality, accessibility, and performance.
How you will help us:
Based in our Hoofddorp office and reporting to the Director of Data Science and AI, as part of the role you will:
Design and implement data architecture. You will develop and maintain scalable data infrastructure to support AI and analytics initiatives. Develop and optimize data pipelines. You will create efficient ETL processes and data workflows to ensure timely and accurate data availability. Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders. You will work closely with teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Implement data governance and security measures. You will ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Drive continuous improvement in analytics capabilities. You will conduct research and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance ASICS' analytics infrastructure.You could be the right person for this role regardless of your age, nationality, religious beliefs or gender identification. What we are looking for:
Continuous learning mindset. You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field and at least 4 years of experience in data analytics, engineering or a similar role and enjoy staying up to date with evolving technologies. Database management and data modelling experience. You have strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages (e.g. Python, Scala) and a good grasp of data modelling tools and techniques and database design, coupled with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies. Data engineering and ETL process experience. You have experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, DBT), strong knowledge of data engineering principles and best practices, and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) Cloud platform and ML experience. You are familiar with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and machine learning concepts. Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills. You are a great communicator and comfortable working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.Your benefits
