Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Design, build, and maintain scalable **ETL** (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to support data integration from various sources. + Develop and optimize data models and storage solutions to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis. + Implement and manage cloud-based data platforms (e.g., **AWS, Azure, Databricks** ) to support data storage, processing, and analytics. + Collaborate with data analysts and collaborators to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs in **GitHub** and other tools. + Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing standard methodologies for data governance and monitoring. + Solve and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner. + Stay ahead of emerging trends and engineering technologies and cloud platforms. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills: + Proven experience in data engineering or a related field. + Proficiency with SQL and experience with database management systems. + Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. + Familiarity with data processing technologies like **Databricks** , **AWS** or similar frameworks. + Familiarity with cloud platforms like **AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud** . + Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as **Python, R** , or **Scala** . + Outstanding problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. + Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area, or equivalent experience. **Our Commitment to You** At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we strongly embrace a culture community and collaboration. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
