Analytics Engineer
Our client is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their team. As an Analytics Engineer, you will fuel Power BI dashboards with high-quality data, design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, architect data models, and transform complex data sets to drive business insights. **This opportunity is open to W2 candidates only, based in EST. Candidates must have 5+ years related experience including advanced skills in Adobe Qlik, SQL, PowerBI, ETL, and data modeling.** **Job Title: Analytics Engineer** **Location: Remote (must reside in EST)** **Terms: W2 only (No C2C or 1099)** **What's the Job?** • Build and maintain data models that transform raw data into clean, tested, and reusable datasets and make it easier for stakeholders to analyze the data using Power BI dashboards. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our client's Qlik and Power BI dashboards ensuring they are powered by accurate and timely data. • Design, develop, and maintain data transformation pipelines on GCP, handling complex business rules and high-volume data from various sources, including Adobe Analytics. • Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines using GCP services like Big Query, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub to support our digital analytics needs. • Develop and optimize ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into our data warehouse, ensuring data quality and consistency. • Collaborate with the analytics team to translate business requirements into actionable data models and pipelines that power reports, dashboards, and other analytical outputs. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models. • Implement and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability. • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering, particularly within the GCP ecosystem. **What's Needed?** • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, with a proven track record of building data models, data transformation, and maintaining data pipelines. • Data Visualization tools experience with Qlik and Power BI is required • Extensive experience with GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Data Fusion. • Strong experience with Adobe Analytics data structures and APIs, including data extraction and processing. • Advanced SQL skills with experience creating logic for data transformations, writing lots of queries, and building data models; being an expert in SQL is a must. • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. • Prior background in ecommerce analytics applications. • Familiarity with agile development methodologies. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and tools in the data analytics industry. + Remote position. + Competitive pay. + Opportunity for growth and advancement within the company. + Work with a talented and passionate team of data professionals.
