Analytics & Insights Intern

Camping World is looking for interns for the summer 2025 internship season to work closely within the Good Sam Analytics and Data Science department. This intern position on the Good Sam Analytics team is for a fully contributing member of our data science group. Interns will be expected to contribute to ongoing, production-grade, work and help support existing initiatives across the company. We are looking for someone who is driven and wants to be fully immersed in a real-world experience. If you are eager to learn and have a strong interest in Data Science/Analytics and want to further develop yourself as a professional; this is the ideal role for you. Camping World internships are ten-week, full-time, paid internships that will provide a great opportunity for those that want to jumpstart their careers. 

 

What You'll Do: 

Understand company operations regarding data analytics functions and systems 

Assist in Propensity modeling, time series forecasting, data pipeline creation, and application development (for connecting models to data flows) 

Fulfill tasks set out by supervisors within your assigned department 

Attend staff meetings to remain updated on projects and changes within the department 

Participate in Internship Program events 

Assist in researching and preparing information 

 

What You'll Need to Have for the Role: 

Education in any of the following areas of study: Analytics, Computer Science/Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Quantitative Science (e.g. Physics, Biology) 

Cumulative 3.0 GPA 

A graduation date between December 2025-July 2026. 

Ability to relocate to Chicago for the summer term (June 9-August 15). Camping World does not provide relocation or housing stipends. 

Participate in Capstone Internship Project including a final presentation to Executive Leadership. 

Experience coding and using Python, R, Google Cloud Platform (e.g. Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Sql), Linux, SQL. 

Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

Excellent at interpreting data, problem solving, and thinking critically 

Ability to maintain professional demeanor and strict confidentiality of company information 

Strong business analysis and technical skills 

Must be diligent, organized, and extremely detail-oriented 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

Flexibility 

Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment with the ability to multitask and keen attention to detail 

Strong work ethic with sense of urgency to resolve issues promptly

Pay Range:

$26.00-$26.00 Hourly
