Chubb is seeking an Analytics Program Manager to aid the delivery of best-in-class data analytics solutions across Chubb’s North American Insurance operations. As an Analytics Program Manager, your focus will be working closely with multiple departments to guarantee the success and efficiency of analytics projects. Additionally, you will oversee the deployment of analytics strategies to drive optimal results.
Responsibilities
Manage/Oversee comprehensive insurance analytics program, including projects related to data engineering, data analysis, analytics modeling, and reporting. Assist in designing and implementing analytics models and methodologies that support loss trending analysis, risk assessment and portfolio management. Develop business cases and project proposals, outlining business benefits, costs, and risks. Work effectively with data scientists, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to manage project scope, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business requirements and contribute to the development of analytics solutions. Work with a team of data scientists, providing support and assistance to ensure efficient execution of analytics projects and meeting deadlines. Communicate with NA Data and Analytics stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements for insurance products, processes, and services. Contribute to the planning and tracking of program milestones and deliverables. Manage program risks, issues, and dependencies and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all program stakeholders. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, proving recommendations on innovative analytics methodologies and tools. 7+ years of experience in program management, strategy, transformation, and business process management (within data analytics space preferred) Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications will be a plus. Understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulations, with practical experience in property and casualty insurance preferred Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and manage expectations. Proficient in MS Office Suite; expert in power point presentations and with Microsoft excel. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools is a plus. Experience with insurance domain and/or inclination to learn the insurance business. PMP certification and/or SAFe certifications are preferrable.
