Analyze business data processing problems and design modifications to implement and improve computer systems.Gather, document, and analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to improve automate existing systems and create business workflows.Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity.Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution.Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets.Work with business stakeholders to define analytics strategy and vision aligning analytics initiatives, identifying key metrics and objectives.Cross Functional collaboration – collaborate with various teams involved in analytics initiatives bridging the gap between business and tech teams.Own Analytics Book of work/roadmap, priorities and execution focusing on organization goals.Serve on agile scrum team and participate in the creation of industry-leading applications for various mobile, web, and Java platforms.Recommend system controls and protocols within an Agile/Scrum methodology.Create, groom, and maintain project features and story backing in addition to any changes to those requirements.Use diagrams, tables, mock-ups, and other methods to ensure features and stories are presented without ambiguity when designing the solution.May telecommute.This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program.
Purpose of the role
To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.
Accountabilities
