Schwab has been doing in-house, native mobile development for several years but every business channel in Schwab is increasing their presence on the mobile platform. What you are good at:
Prepare specifications, design, develop and support mobile applications and prepare documentation per Schwab mobile best practicesAssess and optimize designs through review, evaluation tools and analysis to ensure appropriate user experiences for phones and tabletsCreate and perform unit testing for the spectrum of mobile devicesBuild native mobile apps, support the mobile systems in production and resolve and troubleshoot technical problemsPrepare documentation for new development work while maintaining Schwab development standardsMust have a depth of knowledge in Kotlin and ability to ramp up on new languages quicklyExperience with enterprise level branching/merging with GitHubKnowledgeable of security best practices for mobile application development/integrationIn-depth knowledge of current technological trends, developments, and best practices in information security, wireless network architecture, mobile technologies, and associated concepts What you have
Required Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of Android development experience developing large scale Android applicationsExpert in-depth working experience in KotlinExperience working with Jetpack Compose is a plusExperience with REST, JSON, XML and interfacing Android applications to server-side APIsExperience writing Unit Test and Automated UI testsExperience integrating with REST APIs is a requiredExperience working with CI/CD and debugging issues that arisesExperience performing code reviews and mentoring junior developers is requiredExperience with building native features as a module is a plusExperience/understanding of the SOLID design principlesExperience working with Architects and Stakeholders to craft appropriate solutionExperience debugging memory and performance issuesExperience working with native accessibility features Options Apply for this jobApplyShareRefer a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
