The Anesthesia Technician focuses on cleaning and maintaining equipment during surgery process and the operating room for each procedure as directed.

**Description**
1. Checks equipment and supplies at the beginning of shift according to department policies and procedures.
2. Ensures that proper equipment and supplies are available and present for procedure according to department policies and procedures.
3. Cleans and restocks anesthesia carts and helps protect and maintain anesthesia and anesthesia-related equipment according to department policies and procedures.
4. Cleans, decontaminates and sterilizes anesthesia equipment including but not limited to laryngoscope blades, Magill forceps, light wands, flexible fiber-optic bronchoscopes Doppler probes, tub benders, and bullard.
5. Assists physician in preparing patient for induction and emergency procedure according to department policies and procedures.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
