DescriptionCoordinates and manages activities related to anesthesia department Maintains anesthesia machines and equipment Sets up operating rooms with required anesthesia and physiologic monitoring equipment in preparation for anesthesia in surgical and obstetric suites Removes and cleans equipment at end of procedures if possible and restocks anesthesia supplies for subsequent use Provides assistance to central supply as neededKey areas of responsibilityAssists with turnover changing and wiping down anesthesia machine and cart also any equipment that might be in the roomThis includes anesthesia circuit suction tubing and EKG leadsTroubleshoots anesthesia equipmentSet up any special equipment that might be needed for the casePerforming the leak test on the anesthesia machineAssist with setting up the Belmont and or Level One rapid infuserProvide support to the Anesthesia provider during emergency trauma cases or called upon as neededWork whereevery momentmattersEvery day over RequirementsEmployee must be able to cover all specialty areas where anesthesia is administered and must exhibit excellent communication skills understanding by responding appropriately to
