We're seeking a Anesthesia Technician, Emory TEC ASC Main Hospital responsible for being a capable certified technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety and care for all patients.
This individual will:
Responsible for set up of invasive monitors and supports sophisticated equipment in anesthetizing locations and other patient care areas.Assists anesthesiology personnel with placement of invasive hemodynamic lines.Follows established procedures for equipment inspection. Tests equipment to ensure that it remains in proper operating condition.Stocks supplies and returns items to departmental storeroom upon receipt.Interacts positively with co-workers to ensure the flow of accurate and timely information between departments. Responds to emergency service requests made after regular working hours on a rotating basis. Assists in transporting post-operative patients to the Intensive Care Unit.Follows sterile technique principles and other infection control policies and standards to maintain a healthy work environment. Takes required precautions in keeping with JCAHO, organizational and other safety guidelines when working with electrical equipment.Equipment Checks: Responsibility Description: Performs daily apparatus equipment checks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred and two (2) years of related healthcare experience as an Anesthesia Technician or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!
