Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, a subsidiary of Foundation Health Partners, is searching for a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our highly experienced team.

 

The Opportunity:

Experience an exciting opportunity as an anesthesia physician at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH), where you can play a pivotal role in shaping healthcare delivery in Interior Alaska. In our model, CRNAs manage 100% of cases under physician oversight, fostering a collaborative environment that enables your participation in multiple procedures across various specialties. This approach ensures high-quality patient care while providing opportunities to expand your skill set in an engaging and stimulating work environment. As a 150-licensed-bed sole community hospital, FMH serves as a vital healthcare lifeline in Interior Alaska, offering a full scope of practice. However, you can expect to primarily perform bread-and-butter cases, without hearts or heads, and only healthy pediatric patients.

 

Compensation: $535,600 base salary. $65k sign-on bonus. Eligible for an annual $10,000 physician incentive quality metric bonus.Patients: 4-5 ORs daily with one additional out-of-OR locations in OB, GI scopes, and catheterization lab and imaging as needed.Team: 5 full-time Anesthesiologists and 10 CRNAs.Schedule: Our schedule is tailored to embrace a "work hard, play hard" mentality, with condensed work blocks providing ample time off to explore one of the world's most breathtaking regions.
