Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Anesthesiologists to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards. The department of Anesthesiology has up to 6000 cases per year and 2000 deliveries.

Opportunity Details:

Determines and prescribes kinds of anesthetics and procedures to be employed in various categories of cases. Advises Anesthetists and Surgeons in cases where age or condition of patient presents unusual or complex problems. Recommends suitable anesthesia, advises on dosages and consults on post-operative complications. Reviews case histories and is responsible for all matters pertaining to Anesthesiology. Attends clinical conferences.  Administers anesthesia. Performs related work as required. 40 hour work week with no embeded call Ability to make more compensation by picking up call/addtional hours for coverage
