Job Title: Angiographer Pay Rate: $75.82 Per Hour Location: Murray, UT Schedule:  3 Months (Possible Extensions). Shift Details: 4 X 10s Days Job Duties: -Ensure proper patient identification and order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. -Prepares patients for exam using appropriate body mechanics. -Identifies proper exams based on patient need and utilizes correct exam techniques. -Produces quality images through the appropriate operation of equipment/instrumentation. -Follows proper patient identification protocols. -Thoroughly and accurately completes all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage. -Maintains work area and stocks needed supplies. -Transports patients as needed. -Develops specific knowledge with regard to invasive, diagnostic and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques. -At the end of the procedure, may apply closure device, suture the sheath in place, or remove the sheath and apply pressure to obtain hemostasis. -Understands and applies principles of x-ray generation and safety. -Understands and demonstrates the correct operation of imaging equipment. -Provides patient education, as needed and assures patient comfort. -Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents. .   Required Certifications & Licensure:  -ARRT registration -State of Utah Rad Tech License. -Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. -Must have Vascular/Interventional radiography certification, or one year of Angio/Interventional experience Required Education:  -HS diploma or GED   Powered by JazzHR
