Veterinary Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. Our goal is to make pet food taste great and ensure the highest levels of product performance for pet food manufacturers. In this role, you will work closely with both cats and dogs, focusing on animal care without customer interaction.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain kennels and facility areas to ensure they are organized, sanitized, and free of odors.Feed cats and dogs according to a set schedule and ensure they have access to clean water.Use provided pet toys to play and socialize with the animals.Bathe and groom animals as needed.Prepare pet food for scheduled feedings and properly dispose of leftover food.Maintain and update documentation on dogs and cats.Provide exceptional animal care in a supportive and collaborative environment.Essential SkillsExperience around large groups of animals.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Demonstrated experience with jobs that require being on your feet and performing cleaning duties.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50
